The New Year is here. For many people this means New Year’s resolutions.

But we don’t want you to be a part of the 92%. In fact, this post isn’t about setting and attaining a New Year’s resolution at all.

Just because you haven’t fulfilled your New Year’s resolution of losing weight yet doesn’t mean you can’t do it this year. In fact, choosing to lose weight during the summer can actually be beneficial to your weight-loss goals.

Summer’s finally here. We’re all gearing up for a long season of beaches, boats, and barbecues.

The American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) conducted a large study in 2010, and their findings concluded that over 50% of those surveyed experienced foot pain and discomfort at least some of the time, yet foot care scored all the way at the bottom of the “very important” scale for overall health. Those with foot pain were more likely to have health issues in other areas of the body, yet, like most of us, it was the last thing they thought to take care of.
