Measure your feet in the afternoon. Your feet can swell during the course of the day and impact the fit of your shoes.
Consider the socks or tights you will wear most often with your shoes. For thicker socks or tights, you may want to order shoes 1/2 size larger than you normally wear.
If you require a wide width and no wide width sizes are available, try ordering a 1/2 size larger in the regular width.
1. Heel-Toe Length Stand with one foot on a piece of paper and measure your heel-toe length: Mark the paper at the end of your heel bone. Mark the paper at the end of your longest toe. Measure the distance between these two points. Repeat this process for your other foot. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, use the larger as your foot size.
